Shipping to destinations outside California:
We do not charge sales tax on orders shipped to destinations outside the State of California. However, we charge sales tax on some products shipped to some States based on the local sales tax law.
Shipping to destinations within California:
We are required by law to charge sales tax at rate of 8.75% on the total order (excluding shipping charges) on all orders sent to destinations within the State of California.
Our system calculates and adds sales tax to your order automatically and you will be able to see the total amount (including sales tax) on your checkout, before your credit card is charged.
NOTE: Your sales tax will be waived if:
1. Ordered product(s) is(are) for resale and your business holds a valid California Seller's Permit,
2. Your facility is sales tax exempt (charity organizations, government bodies, etc.) and you hold a valid Certificate of Exempt Status.
If you choose to have your sales tax waived, your first order with WisdomKing.com will be put "on hold" for as long as we receive by fax/email/mail a copy of your California Exempt Certificate or a signed copy of form BOE-230 "California Resale Certificate".

You also will receive instructions how to provide the copy during the ordering procedure.
